‘Chimera feat. Perturbator’ by Judge Bitch

Somewhere in the 2000 AD universe must reside a law enforcer who has taken it upon herself to take up the ultimate mantle of ‘Judge Bitch’ — possibly a woman who doesn’t take the job as seriously as she should; possibly someone who relishes in the costume and power more than the responsibility; possibly someone who was attracted to the tight-fitting body suits, power shoulders and gold chained regalia. A kind of Michelle Pfeiffer-in-Batman Returns of the Dredd universe if you will. Such is the impression I get from this menacing yet ultimately campy italo dirge, whose brooding, synth-laden lurch is intermittently leavened by the occasional silly hiss of “Chiiimerrraahh!”.
