Such inspired casting in getting the wonderful Sandrine Kiberlain to play a wilting flower who one day forms a symbiotic relationship with a bird that flies into her apartment. On top of her being THE PRETTIEST, I can’t think of an actress with more birdlike features: her prominent nose pointed like a beak, her dainty head perched on an elegantly long neck. And I live for scenes like the final shot of this trailer. The full sequence from which it’s taken has also been uploaded to YouTube, and it’s perfect. Perfect cinema. It comes out in the UK on August 17.
