So according to Stereogum, the next Prince Rama record is going to be a full-on, avant-glam concept album, wherein they’ll be channeling the ghosts of ten different pop bands that have died during an apocalypse. And the cover looks like this!
Their different personas will take on various, amazing-sounding monikers throughout the album, such as Black Elk Speaks, Motel Memory, Hyparxia, and (my personal fav) I.M.M.O.R.T.A.L.I.F.E., while the song titles range from earnestly optimistic (‘Those Who Live For Love Will Live Forever’) to winkingly stone-faced (‘Blade of Austerity’).
