I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the non-American world’s indifference to today than with Jens Lekman and his insouciantly delivered, anti-American diatribe borne out of a transatlantic relationship gone awry. Rattling off the country’s low points as if to shake the taste of bad wine, his sour notes include: Native American disenfranchisement, unbearable Summers, exhaust fumes, and the empty promises OF ERICA THAT BITCH.
