The son of Ry Cooder elevates the spangled gaudiness of a stripclub stage to a site of near-spiritual transcendence in this sublime video by Aran Reo Mann. Captured in long, super-imposed exposures, the spiralling dancer almost begins to resemble a multi-winged seraphim engulfed in flame. Meanwhile, Petra Haden provides angelic choral rounds over cerulean synths, as if to usher the dancer through the pearly gates herself. NSFW seraphic strippers.
