‘Fading Out’ by J Fernandez

Fatigued by the melancholy of faded happiness, Fernandez curls his hand up to the ear of the listener and divulges his innermost anxieties with a kind of hushed, soul-searching reverence. Both a cry of resignation amplified by the purity of solitude and a private respite from the fake smiles and opaque, ‘sea-like’ stares, ‘Fading Out’ is a delicate example of wholly interior songwriting-as-catharsis.
