The first trailer for Ron Fricke’s follow up to 1992’s kaleidoscopic docu-portrait of human existence Baraka, this time entitled Samsara.

It’s also notable for being the first feature-length to be shot entirely on 70mm since that film, arguably the best (and most expensive) film stock on the planet, and here it shows. If ever there was an argument for the continuation of film in the face of the digital wave, it’s this.
