As appealing as Andre Allen Anjos’ remixes are, his covers with singer Liz Anjos (sister? wife? sisterwife?) are easily the best things he’s doing. Their previous take on Smashing Pumpkins’ 1979 was a delightful, tween-voiced and starry-eyed synth pop revision, and this Phil Collins cover is no less sugary. Close your eyes and you might hear Taylor Swift fronting The Bangles (dream gig omg). The song was released in honour of their reaching 15K fans on Facebook, and they’re offering it up as a free download over on Soundcloud. Love it.
